Doing my bit for charity

I started volunteering for my local RSPCA in 2018. I go to all their fundraising events, photographing the competitions and stalls for them to use for future advertising. Recently I have been regularly visiting to the animal rescue centre in Halifax to photograph the animals on a white background so that they have their own stock images for advertising, the centre shop and the animals in the centre. I love visiting the centre, I get to meet a variety of amazing animals waiting to be adopted, if only I could take them all home. Not forgetting the staff that make it all happen and look after all the animals in the centre. Honestly at the start of this, I was not doing it because of the photography, it was 100% an excuse to go meet lots of damaged animals. It fully just turned into a love of mine to help out at the centre whenever I have the free time, anything I can do to contribute to the animals having a better life then I am all in. Even if all I do is help to advertise the animal up for adoption or help to bring in funds towards the centre to help with supplies and medical assistance. It’s such a rewarding job.
