Part 3: Filming in Black box

Straight into filming today, using the Canon mark 4 DSLR. The original plan was to film my ending clip for my moving image piece, as I wanted the end shot to be a wide smooth run through the entire set. However, the dolly I was using to guide the tripod and camera through the set was repeatedly catching on little bumps on the studio floor. I was going to put down a sheet of mdf to create a runway for the dolly to move on, however there wasn’t any pieces free to use at the time. So instead of using the dolly I moved onto using the video slider tripod. This gives such a smooth movement but just doesn’t give as much length to move through the entire set but worked enough to produce my ending shot that I wanted.

After I then spent a couple hours on Premiere Pro, moving clips around and putting together my piece, and re arranging the sequence of the clips around 4 times, I finally came up with something I was happy with. As I have been editing the sequence, I have also been screen recording the entire time, I want to make this into a time lapse to show my time on Premiere Pro
