For my final year university project, I wanted access to lots of different plastic waste. And as it happens my uni accommodation was located next to the canal that ran through the side of the university. My house mate had a dog and so we would go walking a lot whenever we could to have breaks from work and university assignments. We would walk a lot on the canal which as the weather was great it was more and more populated, meaning, importunely there was more waste on the ground. So, I decided to buy 2 pairs of pickers and as we walked on the canal the next time, we collected the plastic waste that we came across. This then will get used in my project and recycled the proper way.
